TOYOTA Standard Process

In the manufacture of products, standardization TOYOTA has to be performed, because the manufacturer Toyota has a lot of constumers and the comfort and satisfaction for constumers. The key to successfully enter the era of globalization that is based on Just In Time, Jidoka (built-in-quality), Standardization of work and kaizen (continuos improvement). In the manufacture of a finished product, before there are steps in the production process that the results meet the standards. Belief which has provided the best quality products to their customers, ensuring all TOYOTA provide products with 1 year warranty. This warranty will replace product damage caused due to human error rather than the owner with a claim that is easy. There are seven steps in the manufacturing process, let's see.

1. Styling Design
Making design (2 dimensions) and held a design review, and selecting one of the best design. Purpose: To provide the best design.

2. Product Design / CAD Data Development
From the design of the selected 2D and 3D data created with software Computer Aided Design (CAD), complete with a mounting position, and supporting components such as nut and bolt, double adhesive tape. the result is called CAD Data. Then created a technical drawing (drawing). The results of mass production will be in accordance with the drawings, both in dimension and completeness komponennya.Tujuan: The finished product will be completely in accordance with product designs.

3. Mock-up Review
That makes a product that resembles the original product, evaluate by mounting to the car. If there are still shortcomings, CAD data is revised and evaluated again. It is intended to prevent problems when the product is mass produced. Purpose: To ensure product precision is really appropriate and in accordance with vehicle.

4. Tooling Development
Making the mass-production support, such as mold (mold), jig (tool of process / installation), checking fixture (tool checks the product). This process is generally time consuming, maximum 3 months. Purpose: To ensure all tools are used in accordance with the need to produce the best products.

5. Trial & Performance Evaluation
The results of the mass production of its endurance is tested through several tests are applied to Toyota standards such as resistance to heat, vibration, or chemicals.
Testing Standards:
Ensure the method used can really test the durability of the product. Example: For security guard front bumper and rear bumper guard was tested by performing 30 times the automatic car washing test (car washed 30 times continuously using the automatic car washing machine) to ensure no change of position and no peeling paint. For resistance to UV light side visor (ultraviolet) light irradiated tested with 130 V 80 ° C for 200 hours. Objective: To test the durability of the product so as to provide security and comfort to consumers.

6. Quality Control
Determine the boundaries of quality, such as dimensions and appearance (scratches, spots). Objective: To ensure only the highest quality products that will be to consumer.

Step 7 - Mass Production
Once the product meets certain standards that are applied TOYOTA, and has conducted the approval process (approval) or Supplier Suppliers then began mass production.
